The developmental stages of the dialogue speech notion and its role in foreign language learning

The article provides a review of the main defi nitions of dialogue speech in the development of foreign language learning as a science. The author starts research with the role of spoken language in diff erent historical periods of both foreign language learning and the country, describes the changes of the defi nition, how it was added, and presents important things in language learning of every new stage in comparison to the previous ones. Th e author of the article shows the changes of the dialogue speech understanding from the exchange of subsequent phrases, then the way of thought formation and, aft er the communicative approach appearance, to the form of communication and then communication itself.

The article provides a short review of the main approaches studying the interconnection of language and culture, describes how they diff er from each other and how the dialogue speech learning is considered according to these approaches.
