The Problem of Subjectivity in a Discourse in Terms of Imperative Sentences

This article discusses the use of imperative sentences in the Russian Orthodox sermon. In such sentences, we observe the phenomenon of grammatizing their typical functioning which is a means of expressing the psychological state of the speaker. However, their use in preaching is characterized by the fact that the meaning of the utterance as that of a speech act does not depend on the locative activity of the speaker. This phenomenon is seen as asubjectivation, or the submission of the speaker, who acts as a bearer of someone else’s point of view that dominates him.

Dominants of Audiovisual Text in the Aspect of TV Discourses Research

The article proves the possibility of using the method of an emotional and semantic dominant in the analysis of audiovisual texts, namely television news in the aspect of discourses forming. Modern “by-the-way” perception of compression television texts determines the need to investigate the key­words of messages that in the audiovisual version of the presentation appear as complex intermedia dominants. They define the meaning of the text and its understanding by the audience.

On correlation of levels in the language structure

The article deals with one of the central problems of the language theory — the problem of relations and connections of the language levels. Th e article is aimed to show that such relations as autological and metalogical and a syncretic meta-autological relation can be found in every level of the language. The author tries to refer the given relations to such notions as autorefl ection (U. Eco), metafunction (R. Jacobson), recognition and representation (E. Cassirer), presentation and representation (G. Shpet).
